Product Designer Job in Bangalore at Locus

Locus is hiring for the role of Product Designer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design

• Conduct user research to gather insights and validate design decisions

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and refine product requirements and ensure alignment with business goals

• Usability test proposed solutions to further refine the final product

• Create and maintain design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system to ensure a cohesive user experience across all products

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design quality

• Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterations as necessary

Requirements:

• Degree in interaction design or related fields, such as user experience (UX) design, human-computer interaction (HCI) or graphic design

• 2-4 years of experience in product design or a related role

• A portfolio showcasing your design work and demonstrating your design process

• Good understanding of the trends, best practices, and interface/interaction guidelines for Web, Android, and iOS platforms

• Proficiency in Figma

• Exceptional UX and UI design capabilities and a strong understanding of core design principles

• A good understanding of design research and deriving behavioural analytics for design decisions

• Good understanding of front-end UI/UX principles 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to their team

• Obsessed with the tiniest details, ensuring designs are visually stunning and interactively groovy from start to finish
