Procurement Specialist Job in Bengaluru at ABB Group

ABB is hiring for the job role of Procurement Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Managing execution and tracking of procurement activities within the team, ensuring quality of service at an improved transactional cost
• Ensuring accurate application of group guidelines to drive improvement of cost, quality, and delivery
• Coaching and mentoring the functional team, ensuring training for appropriate skills and competencies
• Supporting in negotiating agreements with main suppliers and periodically renews pricelists, terms and conditions and providing recommendations for appropriate actions
• Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements (based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/project requirements) in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability and price
• Overseeing supplier performance and recommending solutions or resolving performance issues within the scope
• Analyzing and evaluating bids within the scope in order to determine the optimal value

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in any relevant discipline
• Minimum 0 to 2 years of experience in conducting all supply chain activities for all goods and services in accordance with policies and procedures
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Skills in stakeholder management
• Must be able to handle multiple projects and tasks
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
