Procurement Manager - Aqualens Job in Gurgaon at Lenskart

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard domestic and international vendors for contact lenses and solutions.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to ensure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Monitor vendor performance, conduct regular assessments, and implement improvement plans as needed.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and new product developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product specifications and quality requirements.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure cost-effective and favorable agreements.
• Negotiate and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with legal and compliance teams to review and approve contractual agreements.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to establish and maintain product quality standards.
• Monitor and address quality issues promptly, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Work closely with inventory and logistics teams to optimize stock levels and minimize lead times.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
• Implement effective inventory control measures to manage shelf life and product expiration.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience in procurement, specifically in the area of medical devices, contact lenses, or related products
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for medical devices and contact lenses
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
