Procurement & Logistics Specialist Job in Bangalore at ABB Group

ABB is hiring for the position of Procurement and Logistics Specialists

Responsibilities of the candidate:

• Studying automation section of customer specifications and coordinating with ABB hardware and engineering team to clarify technical queries
• Ensuring design adhered to customer specifications and preparing bill of material of automation and electrical solutions
• Interacting with ABB LBU if engineering team or suppliers have any queries and should be resolving them
• Identifying suppliers against each component and managing RFQ with suppliers of each commodity
• Discussing on payment terms, INCOTERMS and other terms and conditions with suppliers. They shall be agreeing to ABB GTC
• Identifying L1 supplier and consider them in the offer, consolidating and preparing commercial offer
• Submitting the offer to project sourcing head for approval and maintaining supplier and price database for projects sourcing
• Conducting the regular meetings with the supplier sales and management representatives for keeping the track of new solutions or products from them

Requirements:

• B.Tech or B.E in Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in blending pharma, petrochemicals, equipment build and delivery
• Experience is automation and petrochemical, supply chain and industrialization
• Knowledge on supply chain and sourcing experience, hands on SAP and ARIBA and other relevant packages
