Procurement Analyst Job in Bangalore at Definitive Healthcare

Definitive Healthcare is hiring for the role of Procurement Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Own the responsibility for spend analytics, focusing on eliminating the Advent spend cube expense of $6k annually to offset costs.
• Collaborate with AP in COE, handling all Purchase Order tasks, and ensuring efficient vendor onboarding with Accounts Payable.
• Provide support and oversight for G2 Track data integrity.
• Assist in managing Purchase Request volumes, supporting risk engagements, providing assistance in RFP processes, and contributing to data analytics for business education and support.
• Own, develop, and manage spend reporting and analytics.
• Collect, maintain, and report on team, departmental, and organizational metrics.
• Report, write, and document operating procedures.
• Identify ways to streamline and improve internal and external processes, metrics, and reporting.
• Administer purchase orders following established policies and procedures.
• Resolve issues with vendors, such as pricing differences and missing purchase orders, promptly.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure efficient and effective transactions of contracts, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payments.
• Articulate purchasing policies and procedures to end-users, providing education to reinforce compliance with purchasing practices.
• Develop, execute, and evaluate Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP) as necessary to support company objectives.
• Manage contract data in the database to ensure a simplified purchasing process.
• Use robust analytics to identify sourcing opportunities and process improvements that benefit the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 2-5 years experience in sourcing and procurement
• Strong skills in data analytics, familiarity with IT systems, and proficiency in BI tools for interpreting data, creating visualizations, drawing conclusions, and producing insight reports
• Understanding of Procure-to-Pay principles, processes, and procedures
• Experience in evaluating vendor bids, negotiating pricing, and handling other contractual terms
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects)
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to influence others
