Process Engineering Manager Job in Gurgaon at Lenovo

Lenovo is hiring for the role of Process Engineering Manager!

Responsibilities Of Candidate:

• Manage overall Mobile Manufacturing process readiness and manage Process equipment and Fixtures, Risk study of capacity, Line balancing, and  identifying process bottleneck
• Maintain the declared process and equipment specification by doing frequent line audits. Drive EMS partner to close audit action items.
• Review and approve NPI Equipment specification and SOP
• To optimize process cycle time and ensure line capacity based on volume forecast.
• Coordinate with internal and EMS partners to maintain Capex and Opex budgets. Manage Asset details and audit reports. Track and handle ECN implementation
• Review NPI reports, EMS Capacity planning, and OEE reports.
• Coordinate with ODM and Lead site team to execute manufacturing process in a smooth way.
• Local vendor development and fixture localization.

Requirements

• Drive and support end-to-end mobile phone manufacturing process (SMT/Assembly) excellence initiatives across the organization with an EMS partner
• Hands-on experience in Process equipment and fixtures development (SMT Machines- Mounter, Printer, AOI, Reflow, Assemble Machines - Glue dispense, Auto Screwing, Plasma cleaning and Pressing machines, clean room)
• Able to manage cross-functional teams and work with internal, EMS partners and ODM to deliver NPI and mass production of mobile phone manufacturing
• Basic Knowledge in pneumatic components, PLC ladder review and modification, Timer, and  Load cell
• Capable of doing production line audits, review reports, SOP reviews, DFM understanding, and Impression validation to meet lead factory requirements
• Formulate the template to retrieve performance-affecting factors
• Well-knowledge in manufacturing yield, Capacity calculation, PFMEA, CP & CPK
• Expert in Asset Management, Budget planning, and hands-on experience in CAPEX, Opex, and identifying Process consumable items. able to handle Engineering Change notes
• Experienced in fixture debug, CAD / Solid works, and fixture Localization
• Should be a passionate team player, Proactive thinking, Risk assessment, and handling
• Can be able to translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and plan
• Driving improvement projects for process optimization and cost savings initiatives
