Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Working on Basic, FEED, or detailed engineering designs complied with project requirements
• Preparing process equipment and instrument-related documents for project requirements within a given time frame
• Preparation & checking of process equipment & instrument datasheet
• Develop sizing calculations for Process equipment (Pumps, Heat
• Exchangers, distillation columns, compressors, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of an equipment data sheet.
• Providing design inputs to the CAD team.
• Review design documents/drawings prepared by the design team
• Prepare and review process specifications, drawings (PFD, PID etc.), and process deliverables mainly as listed below:
• Process Design Basis
• Process flow diagrams
• Heat and mass heat balance
• PI diagrams
• Material selection diagrams
• Line list
• Equipment list
• Process data sheets for equipment s
• Instrument datasheet
• Control Philosophy
• Cause effect sheets

Requirements:

• B. Tech/Diploma in Chemical Engineering with around 2 years experience in Process Design and Engineering
• Sound technical understanding of chemical engineering principles/Unit’s operations
• Experience in the design of chemical processes & equipment (such as sizing of safety valves, agitators, pumps & pipelines, reactor vessels and tanks, and heat exchangers).
• Should be able to perform design calculations without the need for design/simulation software.
• Should be able to work on Process Engineering and work out Project CAPEX and OPEX
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
