Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI.
• Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) with clear objectives and consistently monitor them.
• Analyze data and present it through reports that aid decision-making.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and decide timelines to accomplish them.
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and multidimensional data models.
• Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI Desktop.
• Expertise in advanced calculations on the data set.
• Redefine and enhance existing Business Intelligence systems by making technical/strategic changes.
• Create customized charts and custom calculations as per requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy business intelligence solutions based on business needs.
• SQL querying for best results, use of filters and graphs for better data understanding.
• Work with users and team members at all levels for performance improvement and suggestions.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models.
• Connecting to data sources, importing, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
• Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports as per business requirements.
• Understand business requirements and develop data models accordingly while managing resources.
• Experience in prototyping, designing, and requirement analysis.
• Knowledge of secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure SQL, M-Code, etc.
• Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics (Power BI service - SaaS).
• Experience in developing custom visuals for Power BI.
• Good knowledge of M-Code functions used in Power Query.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for Power BI Service-related issues.

Requirements:

• Any Graduate
• Preferred Qualifications: Power BI, basic understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, Microsoft Office suite, Visio, Advanced Excel, SQL
• Excellent analytical skills & attention to detail
• Customer management exposure and good presentation skills
• Ability to lead calls with clients/other business functions independently
• Strong client handling skills
• Ability to handle pressure – timelines and customer demands
• Self-motivated and execution-oriented
• Team player with people/peer management experience
