Requirements

• Experience in design of Port & Marine structures such as
• Berthing & Mooring Structures, Piled Berths, Diaphragm Walls Berths, Blockwork Quay Walls, Dolphin Structures.
• Dockyard & Ship Repair Structures, Dock Floor, Slipways
• Coast Protection Structures, Breakwaters, Revetments
• Deck Furniture Fender and Bollards, Crane Buffer, Storm Anchor
• Proven design and project management experience delivering to quality, time and budget.
• High level technical skills design.
• Able to correlate and interpret the data shared by supporting interdisciplinary teams.
• Problem solving skills, able to propose alternative solutions for problems encountered.
• Experience in complete life cycle of a design project within Port & Marine environment.
• Previous exposure with international codes such as Eurocodes, AASHTO, AREMA and ACI.
• Able to work in a diverse team spread across different geographical locations.
• Able to provide guidance to Entry level Engineers.
• Able to review calculations undertaken by Entry level Engineers.
• Strong ability in various software packages ideally including STAAD. Pro, Structural Bridge Design, MIKE, SLOPE/W
• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Very good communication skills (Oral and Written) in English language is mandatory
