Arm is hiring for the role of Principal Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop and define SoC design flows and automation for optimization of floorplan, Synthesis, Place&Route, Sign-off and ECO to deliver leading performance with the smallest power and area.
• Infuse innovative industry tools and internally developed statistical, analytical algorithms and machine learning methodologies to develop and refine performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze the requirements and define and develop CAD solutions including external EDA tools integration.

Requirements:

• Experience with SoC design flows, high-performance core design methodologies, advanced clocking structures and design convergence.
• Understanding RTL synthesis tools, process technology design rules, STA, power estimation and analysis methodologies is highly desired.
• Strong coding proficiency in languages Python, C, Tcl, and algorithm development.
• Data analytics, dashboards and metrics development.
• Integrate EDA tools into the automation framework, qualify and release.
• Proficiency with version control systems like git, distributed processing, and disk management.
• Ability to work with evolving problem statements and solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, team spirit and effective collaboration with multi-functional teams.
• Proficiency with one or more domains of technodes, PG grid, synthesis, place and route, timing, and power is required.
