Genpact is hiring for the role of Principal Consultant - Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate

• AWS Aurora experience and strong in Postgres
• Designing Scalable, Fault-Tolerant Data Migration Solutions to migrate data from diverse sources (such as RDBMS, files, API Calls) to Postgres / local.
• Well versed in integrating problem-specific programming languages (SQL/Python).
• Preparing comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, and unit testing documents. This documentation helps maintain applications and ensures smooth collaboration across teams.
• Should have experience on enhancing existing data pipelines. This includes incorporating new business requirements, optimizing performance, and ensuring data quality.
• Automating processes using Python scripts to decrease manual work hours.
• Schedule production jobs using Apache Airflow.
• Well versed in writing stored procedures in Postgres / SQL.
• Understanding data and its functional importance in the project.
• Using GIT, Jira for version control and process tracking.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

• AWS Aurora experience and strong in Postgres
• Strong Python programming skills
• Strong PostgreSQL database skills
• Experienced in REST API call using Python script
• Airflow skills
• Strong Agile methodology working experience
• Communicative and inquisitive
• Flexible to work later hours in the day to get US overlap
