Genpact is hiring for the role of Principal Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Overall, experience in IT Infrastructure Management Services, Service Delivery Management, IT Operation Management, Project Management, Multi-Cloud Delivery Management, Transitioning IT services, and Account Management 
• Work with Automation/DevOps, Change Management, and ensure all the Automation / Configuration items are moved with Steady State for BAU operations 
• Governance with the team to ensure all incidents on the post-build/implemented automation are effectively addressed/ remediated as per the agreed SLAs 
• Identify opportunities to continuously streamline and Develop automation to minimize incidents.
• Led a team of SREs in the implementation, and operation of the IT infrastructure 
• Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure 
• Develop, implement, and monitor new SRE practices and tools 
• Develop and maintain documentation for the automation/infrastructure 
• Work with the compliance team to ensure Compliance Dashboards are Green for the IT infrastructure 
• Work with SNOW tool & Automation team to identify & implement the solution which help for service improvement 
• Mentor and train other SRs 

Requirements:

• BE/B Tech/MCA 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•  Strong experience in monitoring tools Splunk/AppDynamics
• Strong hands-on experience in Application Support/ Development for Financial Services business or direct Client/ Customer facing platforms.
• Willingness to embrace Agile and DevOps/SRE concepts in Day-to-day work dynamically.
• Unix/Linux: Basic knowledge of Unix.
• Strong hands-on experience with AppDev support, log analysis, handling batch jobs, and experience in scheduler tools like TWS, and AutoSys.   
• SQL/Databases (MSSQL): Understanding of tables, views, indexes, and store procedures, and the ability to understand them by reading their definitions. Familiarity with SQL constructs. Understanding of transactions and query plan analysis.
• Solid analytical skills, problem/ risk identification, and quick resolution recovery processes.
• Ability to interface and cultivate passionate working relationships with technology teams, business analysts, and vendors, SQL / PL-SQL awareness
• Knowledge of Java will be useful. 
• Experienced, technically hands-on professional who understands both code and infrastructure
• Solid track record in an operational/support role, understands incident/problem/change management and how to drive stability across organizations. 
• Experience in ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, Jira, etc.)
• Be able to manage an outage incident, coordinating user communications, and other teams to help resolve an incident. 
• Strong and keen focus on metrics and trend analysis
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and understand data
• End user support - able to talk to users to discuss their problems and work through a resolution
• Self-motivated with exceptional oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely
