FIS Global is hiring for the role of  Principal Analyst - BA (Business Analyst, Capital market, Tarde securities)

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Review regulatory and client business requirement and formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements
• Creates requirements to solve complex problems considering product features, time and form of desired results.
• Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications
• Manages project initiation activities, also including translating Business Requirements into Functional Statement of Work
• Supports Project manager to define project scope, activities, schedules and deliverables and develop project plans
• Interacts with application development teams, client services team and professional services team
• Interfaces with external clients and/or internal cross-functional teams on functional matters as needed
• Manages project risks and issues/problems to ensure project goals are achieved
• Assist technical teams with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Capital Market Domain
• Expertise in Investment Banking Solutions/Capital Markets Application Delivery
• Knowledge on Order Management System(Front Office) for equity and options trading and good understanding Order Lifecycle and Trade Surveillance along with Regulatory Reporting
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proven client facing experience, excellent communication and presentation skills
• Adept in Project Office Tools like Word, Excel/Pivot, Powerpoint, MPP, Jira, etc
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to read/write database queries.
• Project Management Experience within financial technology industries (Capital Markets)
• Degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss functional solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Able to create clear from business requirements form regulatory specifications
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
• Excellent co-ordination and management skills
• Enthusiastic, highly motivated and detailed oriented with "can do" attitude
• Innovative Contributor – able to identify & suggest & drive improvements with team (locally & globally)
• Must be able to perform under pressure
• Willing to work in Flexible schedule, as the role is part of a global team
