Valvoline Global is hiring for the role of Pricing Analyst I !

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Pricing record management which includes country price lists, transfer prices and other special prices which involves price uploads and communication back to relevant stakeholders including sales and customer service teams. Maintaining price index and communication to business about the changes.
• Supports the management of pricing analysis like List price Vs Special price, COGS movement, etc to help the company make business decisions and enhance profit margin. Supports/improves the current pricing processes/projects, measurement, and analyses, while helping establish new, actionable pricing strategies, operating metrics, and KPIs.
• Providing spends (price supports like rebates, special schemes etc) to finance on monthly basis. Following up on closure and maintain CN records.
• Works cross functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Supply chain and R&D to participate in any pricing related activities like RFQs submission.
• Active participation in scheduled regional/cluster meetings to provide pricing inputs.

Requirements:

• BS in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 1-2 years of pricing, marketing, and/or finance experience.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Financial/business modeling experience is a plus.
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Effective oral and written communication skills with an ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons.
• Initiative; originate productive actions without specific instructions; generate new ideas, processes and approaches to meet business needs.
• Ability to be a change agent in instituting best practices to drive operational performance and effectiveness across the group.
• Attention to detail with ability to organize data effectively.
• Experience working with SAP and pricing software are a plus.
• Functional knowledge of financial reporting systems and methodologies for reporting using business intelligence tools are a plus.
• Analytical skills to conduct basic research analyze data and prepare recommendations.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
