Maruti Suzuki is hiring for the role of Press Engineering - Equipment and Facility Planning!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Understanding project timelines & analyzing critical paths to achieve targets
- Specification finalization for equipment after understanding the project scope and implementing feedback from internal customers
- Procurement of equipment with the latest technologies and selection of procurement partners
- Designing approval and buy-off considering SQPC requirement
- Understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and implementation in work areas
- Ensuring a safe environment and quality assurance during the installation and commissioning of equipment
- Analysis of production requirements & proposal & implementation countermeasures related to space & capacity planning to match production targets
Requirements:
- Sound knowledge of Press shop Equipment (Press, EOT Crane, Conveyor) and press shop operation is mandatory
- Hands-on Experience in the Erection and commissioning of equipment
- AutoCAD, Basic knowledge of PLC/Drives mandatory
- Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS PowerPoint
