About this Job
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform data analysis related to bulk transmission, distributed generation, and power quality studies.
- Write engineering reports that document study results.
- Support engineering studies on solar, wind, storage plants and utility power systems.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: transmission planning, renewable grid integration studies, power system economics and reliability assessment.
- Experience with one or more of power system simulation tools such as PSCAD/EMTDC, PSS/E, PSLF, ASPEN, ETRAN, Simulink for Power Systems, etc.
- Knowledge of Renewable energy control system design.
Required Education/Experience:
- Requires a BSEE
- Three (3) + years’ experience
Desired Education/Experience
- MSEE or Ph.D. preferred
