Siemens is hiring for the role of Power Module Developer !

Requirements:

• Experience with high voltage power semiconductor selection (IGBT, Si/SiC MOSFET’s, Diodes), gate drive and protection circuit design
• Relevant hands-on hardware experience in power converter design and strong understanding of power electronics topologies with line side converter, Motor inverter & Battery Chargers (AC/DC, DC/DC & DC/AC)
• Experience in Qualification of Switching Devices, Low inductive Bus bar, including testing, validation, and performance evaluation under various operating conditions to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Strong knowledge of switching waveforms, semiconductor loss modeling, capacitors, and analog/digital circuit design for power conversion
• Knowledge of double pulse testing of power modules 
• Conceptualize, design, develop, validate, and smooth introduction of power electronic converters for traction and auxiliary for rail application as per customer specification
• PLM process, FMEA, Knowledge of various IEC, EN and IS standards applicable for Rail Industry
• Good in electrical system design, electric circuit design, power electronics and control electronics
• Good in power electronics development, power conversion topologies including simulation, prototyping, and testing
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC Testing Standard
• Design low-cost components and product costing
• Design and test concept development
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools and techniques like A3, 8D etc.
• Risk Assessment
• Good communication skills
• Good in English language
• Software skills: MATLAB, Mathcad, PLECS, LT-SPICE, SAP, Teamcenter
