Ethics Infotech is hiring for the role of Power Electronics Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Design and select semiconductor parts, cooling mechanisms, passive components, protection circuits, sensing circuits, AC-AC, AC-DC, DC-DC, motor drivers/controllers, battery management solutions, LED drivers, and various power products.
• Design and develop power electronics components like converter and inverter modules, filter circuits, and battery chargers based on requirements.
• Develop electrical components including temperature sensors, actuators, solenoids, motors, drives, batteries, and contactors.
• Possess knowledge of analog circuits, protection circuits, and controller hardware.
• Design and select magnetic components, MOSFETs, IGBTs, and SCRs for high-power applications.
• Develop and verify digital and analog power electronics control hardware.
• Design and develop power converters/inverters for Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) and harmonics solutions.
• Understand the electrical drives development cycle.
• Use circuit simulation tools such as Matlab, PSIM, or LTspice.
• Understand PCB artwork layout design with a voltage range of up to 1kV.
• Be familiar with typical safety norms requirements for power converter systems.
• Understand hardware-mechanical and hardware-software interfaces.
• Apply fundamental analytical equations and design principles for inductors and transformers.
• Understand converter control specifications and design.
• Use CROs, frequency meters, signal generators, power supplies, data loggers, and electronic loads for testing and measurement.
