Post Graduate Engineer Trainee - Process Job in Chennai at Wood PLC

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Carry out Engineering design work for a unit or units using Wood and Client design methods, standards and data in accordance with Project requirements.
• When applicable, incorporate data from Licensors into the process design of a unit or units.
• Participate in engineering design and analysis activities under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of process design deliverables, such as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integrated and efficient project execution.
• Support process engineers in conducting simulations and calculations to optimize design.
• Assist in the development and review of engineering documentation and reports.
• Participate in safety reviews, risk assessments, and process hazard analyses.
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical issues during project execution.

Requirements:

• Engineering Graduate in Chemical Engineering (Essential).
• Completion of a post-graduate degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic background with a focus on process engineering principles.
• Good understanding of process simulation tools and software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
