Barclays is hiring for the role of Portfolio Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Production of HRD deliverables including COO/BX ExCo, HR ExCo, and board papers, ensuring a high standard of accuracy, precision, and appropriate positioning for the audience.
  • Production and management of key data and insight to support executive papers and key projects such as MD Bridge, talent reviews, Your View.
  • Collaboration with other HR TCs on deliverables, including Talent, DEI.
  • Partnering with the wider BX HR Business Management team to drive globally consistent output and a cohesive business management offering across BX.
  • Ownership of regular BX HRBP reporting, including cost board, RemCo, Control Environment Risk Profile Assessment (CERPA), QBRs, and ExCo/Board reports and narrative.
  • Managing key relationships and working collaboratively in partnership with BX HR Leadership Team, HR Business Manager Teams, and the HR Finance Team.
  • Providing support on cross BX projects, as well as ad hoc support as required.
  • Ensuring BX HR is managed effectively from a cost, risk, control, and service management perspective.
  • Coordination of other HRBP team deliverables, such as Quarterly Business Review (QBR), records management.

Requirements:

  • Ability to leverage a broad range of quantitative and qualitative sources, both internal and external to Barclays, including People Analytics reporting, business information, and research papers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, consistently delivering high-quality papers with clear updates
  • Resilient, demonstrating a positive reaction to changes and maintaining poise, focus, and flexibility when encountering difficulties or obstacles
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify efficiency opportunities and challenge the status quo
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, ensuring consistent delivery to a high standard
  • Strong problem-solving skills, able to collaborate effectively with relevant stakeholders, gather, review, and interpret complex data to propose solutions at pace
  • Possesses a strategic mindset, naturally inquisitive, connecting the dots and thinking function and enterprise-wide
  • Holds a Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior management and stakeholders globally
  • Analytical skills with a demonstrable ability to draw insights from multiple sources of data/analysis
  • Experience in managing/coordinating communications across a wide range of stakeholders globally
  • Relevant experience across HR and/or Business Management
