Portfolio Management Associate Job in Gurgaon at BlackRock

BlackRock is hiring for the role of Portfolio Management Associate!

Responsibilities of Candidate:

• Building customized solutions using Python to enhance the usage of model-based research and working closely with various partners toward other automation efforts.
• Partner with PMs to integrate these customized solutions into daily processes and continually refine them.
• Working with partner teams to proactively monitor and manage portfolio risk and performance metrics.
• Owning daily portfolio checks, cash management processes, and derivative life-cycle events.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in portfolio management or related roles such as portfolio construction, risk management, compliance, operations, technology, or trading (preferably related to fixed income portfolios.)
• Strong process-oriented background including management and improvement of controls & procedures.
• Demonstrate knowledge and passion for financial markets.
• Demonstrate keen awareness of operational risk issues as well as adapt quickly and perform under tight time constraints.
• Knowledge of Aladdin tools like Portfolio Construction, Portfolio Monitor, Dashboard, and Explore is beneficial.
• Strong programming skills are required, especially in Python.
• Successful experience working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must as will have to deal with several internal teams such as Trading, Operations, Risk and Quantitative Analysis, etc.
• Demonstrated planning and organization skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a diligent attention to detail.
