HSBC is hiring for the position of PMO/Consultant Specialist/Pune/Hyderabad/Wealth & Personal Banking IT!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supporting Finance lead for driving financial performance management across the Retail Banking and Strategy (RB&S) Tech team.
• Support in Financial Planning, Management, and reporting (incl. Budgeting and forecasts, Coordination with central team & stakeholders).
• Support in analysis of monthly variance for direct cost and governed charges and validate variance explanations to different audiences.
• Support in developing the financial (and non-financial) metrics required to support Direct/Indirect charges, leveraging industry best practices from both within Financial Services.
• Support the business through the creation of MI and the provision of insight.
• Manage & update resource & cost management tools.
• Support in Ad hoc analysis and reporting (MI decks) as required.
• Perform regular health checks on the data quality of financials.

Requirements:

• Professional experience in a large Global organization preferably in an IT department or shared service organization.
• Proven track record in Operational, Planning, or Financial management role or supporting role
• Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets and create databases
• Excellent analytical skill, a passion for metrics and figures, and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture 
• Familiarity with key tools including Pioneer, Discover, GPDM, Clarity, HIBS, and Confluence (Desirable) 
• Strong communication skills – applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations)
• Experience in producing high-quality reporting to tight deadlines
• Understanding of infrastructure P&L and cost allocation methodology and models
• Project management skills, including creating lean processes and governance structures.
• Able to prioritize tasks, resolve problems, and respond effectively to emerging issues
