PLM Software Engineer Job in Delhi at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company

Goodyear is hiring for the role of PLM Software Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform application design and development for a key business PLM application(s).
• Perform DevOps release management and incident management following the ITIL framework.
• Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions to problems involving causes that are not obvious.
• Maintain, modify, and support sub-system or 3rd party components.
• You will perform tasks necessary to ensure data integrity and system stability.
• Complete unit testing of all work processes.
• Work according to requirements that are developed through collaborative efforts with the business design groups.
• Adhere to the software development lifecycle.
• Communicate with project management, leaders, architects, and stakeholders.
• Check if the precedents are unclear, you must obtain advice from higher-level IT associates.
• W and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility.
• Investigate emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience developing with C++.
• Must have experience with scripting languages like SQL, Batch scripting, PowerShell, or equivalent
• Have at least experience with DevOps toolchains like Azure, Jira, Selenium, or equivalent.
• Have at least experience with modern CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent.
• Have at least experience with code repositories such as SVN, GitHub, or equivalent.
• Have at least experience with REST/SOAP APIs, HTML, CSS, JSON & JavaScript, or equivalent.
• Have experience with Java desired but not required.
• Have experience with Dassault Systèmes SmarTeam and CATIA V5 desired but not required.
• Having experience with Siemens Teamcenter is desired but not required. Regular work in CET time zone hours. Willingness to conduct changes outside of the business working hours.
