About this Job
Wabtec Corporation is hiring for the role of PLM Engineer!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Manage and track the creation, change, and archive of all information related to a product.
- Handle change management processes, including configuration management.
- Manage and track the creation, change, and archive of engineering data, such as CATIA files, drawings, and associated documents.
- Assist in the configuration management of product variants.
- Build and manipulate the product structure bill of materials (BOM) for assemblies.
- Perform engineering change management and release control on all versions/issues of components in a product.
Requirements:
- Diploma or BE in Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
- Working knowledge of product data management (PDM)
- Hands-on experience with PLM Teamcenter is preferred
- Prior experience as a PLM key user is an added advantage
- Proficient in PLM Teamcenter and M3 ERP systems
- Working knowledge of CATIA V5, Creo, or ProE (anyone)
- Proficient in MS Office tools
- Fluent in English
