Kenvue is hiring for the role of Platform Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Platform Support: Assist in building and maintaining Snowflake data warehouse components, including tables, views, and basic data models.
• Data Pipeline Assistance: Help develop and test ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data using Snowflake and related tools.
• Query Development: Write and optimize basic SQL queries to support data preparation and reporting needs.
• Monitoring: Monitor data pipeline performance and assist in troubleshooting issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Documentation: Contribute to documenting processes, configurations, and workflows to support team knowledge sharing.
• Learning & Growth: Actively participate in team training, code reviews, and mentorship sessions to build expertise in Snowflake and data engineering.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in data-related roles (e.g., internships, academic projects, or entry-level positions) or a strong foundational knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or willingness to learn.
• Exposure to Snowflake (e.g., through coursework, personal projects, or internships).
• Exposure to data warehousing or ETL processes is a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Curiosity: A strong desire to learn and grow in data engineering, with an interest in Snowflake and cloud technologies.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively and take direction from senior team members.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Terraform or Git.
• Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation workflows is a plus.
• Basic scripting skills in Python or a similar language.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or data pipeline tools.
