Performance Test Engineer Job in Gurgaon at Alight Solutions

Alight Solutions is hiring for the role of Performance Test Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work with project teams to capture performance test requirements
• Develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and other relevant tools like JMeter
• Work with application team to understand test data requirement and leverage data base knowledge to create test data as needed.
• Work independently on scripting, test data set-up, scenario design and execution
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests across various platforms
• Monitor system performance using APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, NewRelic)
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks
• Document test plans, test cases, and results in accordance with QA standards
• Collate execution stats and prepare report for internal review with detailed findings.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in performance testing and engineering
• Strong knowledge of LoadRunner Enterprise/Professional, JMeter and scripting hands-on using VuGen for Web HTTP/HTML, Truclient protocols
• Basic scripting knowledge of programming using C, Java, Java Script. Python knowledge will be added advantage.
• Understanding of system architecture, databases, and network protocols
• Basic knowledge of AWS, GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA
• Working knowledge of Postman/SOAPUI, API based testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• ISTQB or equivalent certification (preferred)
