People Analytics Specialist Job in Mumbai at Nomura

Nomura is hiring for the role of People Analytics Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Build strong working relationships with HR specialists and analytics colleagues across regions and globally to enhance reporting and insight delivery
• Communicate effectively in Japanese (business-level proficiency) and English, both verbally and in writing
• Collaborate with local teams to understand regional nuances in HR reporting and data usage
• Proactively deliver people analytics, metrics, and insights to support HR Advisors and business managers
• Design and build analytical tools such as dashboards and reports for decision-making
• Support the development and maintenance of People Analytics datasets from HR source systems and related data sources
• Provide reporting and analytical support for monthly and ad-hoc HR processes
• Identify opportunities to consolidate recurring reporting and analytics requests
• Deliver ad-hoc workforce and HR analytics for the Global People Analytics team, including:
• Summary-level headcount and run-rate reporting
• Attrition analysis (leavers, turnover percentage, and supporting details)
• New hire analytics (number of joiners and detailed population data)
• Diversity and inclusion analytics aligned with Nomura’s inclusion strategy
• Compensation analytics for defined employee populations
• Analysis of key hires and leavers with cost and run-rate impact across the business

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree
