Ericsson is hiring for the role of PCN Solutions Engineer ll!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform end-to-end testing of mobile networks, including User Equipment (UE), eNodeB, gNodeB, and EPC/5G Core.
• Validate and troubleshoot 4G and 5G features such as Handover, VoLTE, Carrier Aggregation, and more.
• Execute test cases and evaluate results against expected outcomes.
• Analyze system and test tool logs to debug issues and identify root causes for network or system-level problems.
• Work with wireless testing tools such as QXDM, TM500, and Channel Emulators.
• Understand message flows and key parameters in 5G NR procedures.
• Utilize CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git for continuous testing and deployment.
• Leverage virtualization technologies such as KVM and VMware, with exposure to cloud-native architectures preferred.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with tools and simulators such as TM500, Amarisoft, Mobilium DsTest, or open-source mobile simulators.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
• Certifications in Kubernetes and experience with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
