Payroll Specialist Job in Bangalore at Commvault Cloud

Commvault Cloud is hiring for the role of Payroll Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Accurate salary calculations and variable payments.
• Ensure appropriate employee payroll deductions.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll information.
• Manage payroll functions with patience; ability to adapt to constant changing requirements of multiple countries.
• Work with ADP and Human Resources to ensure required taxes, social contributions, benefit programs and other deductions are handled in accordance with local laws and regulations for each country.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
• Implement and maintain payroll best practices and procedures.
• Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with Tax, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Understand global payroll to determine appropriate accounting treatment of payroll transactions; complete required payroll journal entries and reconciliations for multi countries; comply with Commvault’s company policies and controls.
• Participate in automation projects and process improvements.
• Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce, MBA/CA/CWA Inter completed will be a great fit for this role.
• 2 – 5 years of APJ payrolls experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with Global payroll is a plus.
• Proficient with systems, MS office.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Basic Accounting skills.
