Koch Global Services is hiring for the role of Payroll Specialist!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Collaborate to enhance the employee experience with a transformational mindset.
  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
  • Handle statutory deductions such as PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other payroll-related deductions.
  • Coordinate with the finance department for salary transfers and payroll reconciliations.
  • Validate payroll inputs and outputs to ensure error-free payroll processing.
  • Identify methods to improve payroll efficiency and draft SOPs/DTPs.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to validate income tax calculations, Form 16, and quarterly E-TDS filings.
  • Publish periodic dashboards for payroll reporting needs.
  • Troubleshoot compliance-related queries and notices.
  • Manage year-end activities, including income tax filing, bonus calculations, and final settlements.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
  • Prepare and collaborate with compliance vendors for statutory reports like PF, ESI filings, and Form 24Q.
  • Stay updated on tax laws and labor regulations to ensure compliant payroll processes.
  • Prepare year-end payroll reports and participate in audits.
  • Address employee queries about salary, deductions, tax calculations, and payslips.
  • Resolve payroll grievances and collaborate with the service desk to create knowledge articles.
  • Manage payroll software and ensure accurate payroll records.
  • Maintain data integrity in HCM and payroll systems.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, and finance teams to streamline payroll workflows.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in payroll operations.
  • Manage program and process transformation initiatives, if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in researching, troubleshooting, and resolving consumer inquiries.
  • Collaborative team player with accountability for self and others.
  • Experience with HCM platforms (e.g., Infor, SAP, Greyt, ADP) and case management systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • High integrity to handle sensitive data and documents.
  • Experience in process automation and HR program management.
  • Strong data management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and experimentation.
  • Secure handling of confidential employee information.
  • Expertise in payroll operations compliance with local laws.
  • Understanding the team’s role in adding enterprise value.
  • Proven ability to meet performance metrics and work professionally with remote stakeholders.
