Halliburton is hiring for the role of Payroll Representative!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Work under direct supervision as part of the Payroll Unit to support end-to-end processing of employee payrolls.
• Collect, validate, and process HR and payroll data in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
• Support payroll accounting activities, including internal reporting, audits, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Assist with external reporting and remittance of wages, taxes, and other statutory deductions.
• Apply a general understanding of payroll tax laws to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Provide support on payroll-related projects of medium complexity, ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for payroll reports, audits, accounting records, and tax filings.
• Assist in the preparation of documentation required to support internal controls, in line with process guidelines.
• Perform payroll data analysis and reconciliation to identify discrepancies and support issue resolution.
• Assist in investigating and resolving payroll-related issues in a timely and accurate manner.
• Seek guidance from subject matter experts to address complex payroll queries and ensure appropriate resolution.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance payroll processes and efficiency.

Requirements:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience required.
• A Bachelors Degree is preferred.
