ANZ is hiring for the role of Payroll Governance Specialist!
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
- Deliver the payroll governance framework (monitoring and control activity) and payroll standards, to ensure payroll outcomes are compliant against local regulatory requirements and ANZ policy/standards
- Deliver key operational reporting to monitor payroll analytics, outcomes, metrics, risk indicators and trends
- Embed the use of payroll best practice
- Complete, improve and enhance regular processes
- Manage ad hoc tasks, reviews and interact with business stakeholders, the wider team and SMEs.
- Deliver timely and accurate results in a coordinated way
Requirements:
- A technical understanding of payroll delivery, payroll systems and payroll regulatory environment, through previous payroll-related experience, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional environment – is an advantage
- Broad domain understanding of the payroll business environment in financial services, including risk, change management, technology, data management and vendor management
- Strong focus on self-directed continuous improvement
- Attention to detail and proven problem-solving capability
- Clear communication skills and team player
- A curious mindset, ability to manage ambiguity and proactive in creating shared clarity.
- Experience with risk frameworks; controls, audits
- understanding of payroll business environment in financial services
- Spinifex experience
