Pluralsight is hiring for the role of Payroll Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate

• Review and certify international payroll transactions to ensure all recommended payments accurately reflect current compensation levels and withholdings in accordance with local labor laws and requirements.
• Compile, enter and reconcile data entry associated with international payroll.
• Prepare payroll for commission, bonus and equity plans, and associated tax payments.
• Perform audit of payroll registers prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports.
• Understand/research proper taxation of employer-paid benefits and country-specific payroll tax laws.
• Research and investigate payroll discrepancies and employee payroll issues.
• Communicate professionally and regularly with ActivPayroll service provider to ensure timely and accurate processing, and knowledge of local requirements.
• Research and propose a resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing.
• Ensure leave balances are accurately recorded and reported
• Collect and provide reports and other supporting documentation for internal and/or external audit preparation.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and advise on potential areas of improvement in the control environment.
• Ensure that new hire and termination information for our international team members in the system is accurate.
• Review appropriate wage base limits in system.
• Provide proactive communication to team members on payroll matters that come up, and respond quickly to questions that arise.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing requested reports and ad-hoc requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other relevant field of study.
• 1-2 yearsof experience with payroll processing required.
• Experience in managing payroll across multiple countries.
• Proficiency in Excel required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all payroll records and meet strict deadlines.
• Prior experience with Active Payroll and Workday is a plus.
• Strong understanding of reconciliation process preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
