Merck is hiring for the role of Packing Executive!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Co-ordinate with planning team and plan the day PO’s in 1-2 advance and hand-over the list for staging and other activities.
• Weigh hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals accurately using precision equipment into specific containers.
• Verify hood and safety equipment function, obtain weigh up, verify electronic balance is calibrated and maintain the necessary records.
• Verify match of weigh up and bulk container lot numbers.
• Obtain correct type and quantity of containers for weigh up. Weigh chemicals into containers according to packaging instructions and obtain weight checks.

Requirements:

• Education: Any graduation degree
• 6month to 2 years’ experience in packaging from a pharma or biochemistry background
• Aware of the hazards of the chemicals and PPE requirements and safe handling and disposing methods. Basic math skills including the metric system.
• Handling of semi-automated equipment.
