About the job:

The role holder will be part of the Order Management Team (Centre of Future Excellence) and support the transition of the management of orders from the Market Order Management teams to the COE. Primary tasks for the role will be the processing of administrative tasks in the Order to Invoice process working with our Global Sales and Order Management functions. This role will allow us to contribute to significant lasting change to the way we manage our customers’ orders and a direct improvement to our customers’ experience.

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Process all types of sales orders including eCommerce orders, in full cycle from order to invoice in accordance with Smiths guidelines and policies.
• Liaise with relevant internal and external parties to manage and resolve all issues relating to order fulfillment.
• Manage and input all sales orders timely to ensure on-time delivery for a given market.
• Manage and create Delivery Notes, Factory Liaison, PGI, and Invoicing
• Ensure backlog (orders outstanding) is managed efficiently with no past due status..
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives when required.
• Ensure a clean backlog at all times and compliance with audit requirements.
• Setting up folders in SharePoint/MS Teams for every order and ensuring all the information on the orders is updated timely.
• Ensure system and operation transactions comply with the law, regulatory taxation as well as corporate policies.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is in place to enable transit from origin to destination without delays and by customer need and foreign trade regulations with support from the sales and finance teams where relevant.
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the supervisor/management.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience
• Minimum a bachelor's degree (B.A, B.com, B.B.A, B.C.A, BSC or similar)
• Knowledge and experience in Order Management, Quote to cash, and Sales be an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good Understanding of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Experience in SAP will be an added advantage

• Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
