Key Responsibilities (Functional - Oracle DBA)

• Installations and configuration of Oracle Databases on various flavors of UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments in standalone, RAC environment, Standby/Data guard databases.
• Experience on MongoDB is mandatory.
• Should have strong knowledge on Database Upgrade, Migration, Patch Installation and Implementation.
• User / Schema Creation, User Management, granting Roles and Privileges and creating profiles.
• Strong knowledge on schema and tables refresh by using datapump, and different methods in datapump.
• Cloning of Production Instance to UAT/Dev.
• Strong Knowledge on RMAN Backup & recovery management and troubleshooting the backup issues.
• Should have knowledge on sql query tuning and troubleshooting long running queries.
• Basic Shell scripting.
• Creating storage database structures with high-level security features
• Altering storage structures to meet the evolving needs of the company.
• Setting up database user accounts

• Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity
• Regularly updating the database security protocols
