Kotak Mahindra is hiring for the role of Operations Team Member - Trade Finance Operations!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Verification of Legal Documents: Verify executed legal documents as per the Documentation Grid provided by the legal team and the Sanction Letter/Term Sheet issued by the business/credit team.
• Updating PSL for CCOD Product: Update the PSL for CCOD products based on the PSL template received from the business, along with the TS/SL.
• Insurance Policy Maintenance: Maintain insurance policies according to the terms of the Sanction; provide information to the centralized insurance policy maintenance desk.
• Preparation and Release of Disbursement Advice: Prepare and release Disbursement Advice to the Loan Maintenance Team for disbursement of loans in LPS. Provide Limit Loading Instructions (LLI) to the Treasury team for treasury products and CMS team for CMS products.
• Insertions and Deferral Closures: Handle document insertions received post-disbursement and manage deferral closures after receiving the requisite documents from the Business Unit.
• Tracking Post Disbursement Conditions: Track post-disbursement conditions related to Wholesale & Commercial operations in DRS as “pre-approved”.
• Handover of Files and Dockets: Handover files (all documents except Title Deeds) and dockets (Title Deeds – separate docket for each mortgaged property) to DMT for further action and obtain acknowledgment in ET/Register (or manually if non-ET transactions).
• Liaison with Auditors: Coordinate with auditors to ensure no audit queries.
• MIS Reporting: Manage daily reporting, pending status, and insertions.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Post Graduate or MBA in Finance.
• Ability to perform under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
• Adaptable and open to changes in the business and operational environment.
• Ability to build and develop the team while being an integral part of it.
