DE Shaw is hiring for the role of Operations and Recruitment  Associate!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• You will design, refine, and implement customized sourcing strategies to identify and recruit world-class talent.
• You will contribute to a variety of recruitment-related activities and workflows at all stages of the candidate lifecycle.
• Additionally, you will identify, research, and curate machine learning datasets to enable the training of proprietary ML models.
• You will contribute to human capital operations such as onboarding and processing benefits and reimbursements.
• You will also contribute to events such as on-campus career fairs, recruiting talks, and conferences attended by the technical team members.
• You will be responsible for overall management of the group’s advertising and marketing efforts and statistical analysis of operational, recruitment, and technical data.
• You will be involved in end-to-end management of the interview process, including scheduling and feedback collation from hiring managers and providing a seamless candidate experience.
• You will work with the group’s scientists and track trends and technological advancements relevant to the drug discovery efforts.
• Moreover, you will support the group's corporate development team by tracking scientific publications and analyzing supercomputer data.

Requirements:

• A graduate/master’s degree from any discipline with no current backlogs with 6 months to 3 years of experience
• The ability to be exceptionally amiable and highly motivated creative thinkers
• The ability to demonstrate attention to detail, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
