Operations Analyst - Insurance Job in Bangalore at PhonePe

PhonePe is hiring for the role of Operations Analyst - Insurance!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of data related to vehicles. 
• Identifying and resolving missing data sets and any mismatches that exist in the database and starting with manually mapping, checking, and course-correcting the rows/columns.
• Setting up processes and checkpoints with regard to hygiene and maintenance of real-time data processing.
• Minimizing errors in the database due to non-covered data points and proactively sharing insights/observations.
• Adopting and applying real-time changes happening in the dataset and curating SOP to ensure smooth adoption of the changes.
• Working closely with the Tech/Engineering team to provide timely feedback on improvements and possible automation in the process.
• Coordinating with channel partners/insurers/providers/third parties to drive up the master coverage and ensure accuracy in the search results.

Requirements:

• Keen interest and experience in Vehicle variants, Insurance Catalog/Masters directories, etc.
• Previous experience working in the automobile industry specifically make- model- variants databases in the Indian markets
• Hands-on Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, and Database software if any
• Keen interest in understanding how the integration of vehicle models, registration numbers, and quote pricing works in the insurance industry
• Interested about updates in the Automobiles industry and new launches and specifications
• Quality analysis/ Quality check/ Data audit experience would be a plus
• Bachelor's degree in any field (Automobile background is a plus)
• 1-2 years of experience
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong problem-solving ability
• Ability to work with heavy datasets/database and plan to automate manual tasks
• Excellent communication skills to sync up with stakeholders
• Handled Databases/Cataloguing/MIS earlier pertaining to vehicle Models or any sector
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Should be a go-getter and ready to get their hands dirty
