Hitachi Energy is hiring for the role of Operation Analyst!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Supporting the PGTR QO Management with the development and administration of the BU-QO’s Power BI workspace. Working in a respectful, friendly Team which is working fast and seldom hectically.
• Working closely with the HE Performance & Analytics Team is the owner of the most important database feeding the Transformers PowerBI visualizations.
• Building Analysis Services reporting models. Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop.
• Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Translating data into informative visuals and reports. Implementation of row-level security on data and application security layer models in Power BI.
• Creating DAX queries in Power BI desktop. Applying advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Developing tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
• Developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
• Extracting and analytics of data from various tools and other relevant sources to measure the performance of specific activities or initiatives for the QO Department.
• Creating of What/IF analyses / Scenario analyses. Undertake ad-hoc customized analytics.
• Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards (including but not limited to Relex Analyzer and PowerBI Dashboards) for the Transformers Quality & Operations Department.
• Supporting in training the stakeholders about the usage of the reports and dashboards.
• Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of data quality and completeness.
• Supporting data cleansing to enhance the quality of reporting.
• Developing and maintaining the BU QO’s Reporting & Analytics Teams Space / Sharepoint.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 - 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP/S4 HANA -Data handling. Experienced in connecting different data sources in 1 Power BI.
• Ability to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards and to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources.
• Familiar with Row Level Security (RLS). Expertise in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
• Strong capabilities of DAX queries / DAX functions / Power Query Editor. Speziallist on building visualizations in PBI based on various sources and datasets. DA-100 certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge and skills in secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, Power Apps, etc.
• Extended MS Office knowledge & skills, especially Excel but also eg PowerPoint, etc.
• Knowledge of HE / PGTR organizational structure & operational KPIs preferred.
• Experienced in building MS Teams Space & SharePoint pages.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
