Offshore Technical Consultant Internship at CloudStuff

Cloudstaff is hiring for the role of Offshore Technical Consultant!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Provide overnight coverage (4 pm to 1 am US time) for end-user support and system emergencies, escalating issues to the US team when necessary.
• Analyze and report on client system health, including server disk health, backup/recovery logs, antivirus/malware logging/reporting, firewall logging/reporting, and Office 365 licensing.
• Perform monthly test restores for Office 365 and Axcient Backup and Recovery.
• Execute PowerShell/VBScript/batch scripting for automation projects, such as new user setup, software installations, system maintenance and other functions.
• Monitor and maintain weekly third-party software and monthly Windows system patching processes, resolving any issues that may arise.
• Provide overnight resolution for issues requiring application reconfiguration, reinstallation, and other challenges not resolved during daytime support.
• Develop comprehensive system documentation, license keys, configuration notes, and other critical aspects of our clients' systems.
• Create instructional videos using Loom for common tasks, contributing to our knowledge base.
• Research and report on inquiries from the owner regarding process improvement, new features of supported products, and other emerging issues.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in PowerShell/VBScript scripting and other technical skills.
• Self-starter with attention to detail.
• Logical troubleshooting process.
• Responsible and friendly demeanor.
• Clear English-speaking skills.
• Experience in Windows and OSX desktops.
• Familiarity with light networking and light server environments.
