Officer - Liquid Terminal Job in Gandhinagar at Adani Group

Adani Group is hiring for the role of Officer - Liquid Terminal!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Ensure readiness of tank and tank’s pipelines with associated flexible hoses and ensure inspection with client nominated surveyor for handling import/export cargo in tank farm and pump house
• Carry out safe and efficient operations within line cargo quality specifications during carry out Pre-vessel, during vessel and after-vessel operation-related activities like tank and pipeline lineups as per the operational plan
• Carry out the pre-vessel and after vessel operation tank gauging and sampling with party-nominated surveyors and communicate the same to the shift manager
• Ensure the interrupted tank farm and pump house operations during vessel import and export operation
• Carry out safe dock line pigging operation for handling import/export cargo with close coordination to the Jetty officer and shift manager at the control room
• Fulfill the documents about import/export operation line-up coordination with shift manager/surveyors /Jetty officer etc.
• Maintain good standards of housekeeping at all tank farm areas including pump house
• Handle cargo from ship to shore tanks and shore tanks to road tanker with required /specifics personal protective equipment for self, subordinates and contractual worker for compliance as per guidelines for safe and smooth operations
• Ensure the proper execution of OWS and Slop tank operations as per the plan
• Ensure the good housekeeping standards and dyke trench lines are emptied
• Supervise and coordinate with the engineering team/Project Team/etc. on a regular basis for the healthiness of dock line storing tanks and loading & unloading pumps valves & other associated equipment/instruments and supervision for any critical activity job for new projects/any modifications

Requirements:

• B.Tech in Mechanical and Chemical or, B.sc & M.sc (Chemistry)
• 2-5 years of experience in Chemical handling in Liquid Cargo Terminals
