Streamlined is hiring for the role of Observability Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Develop, configure, and optimize monitoring tools and dashboards to enhance visibility into system health, performance metrics, and logging.
• Implement and manage alerting mechanisms to promptly identify and escalate critical issues affecting system performance and reliability.
• Led and coordinated incident management processes, including incident identification, documentation, resolution, and post-mortem analysis.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive observability of all systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct regular system performance analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent potential issues.
• Participate in the design and implementation of systems and network architecture with a focus on observability and reliability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role, focusing on system/network monitoring, alerting, and incident management.
• Strong understanding of observability principles and experience with tools such as Zabbix, New Relic, AppDynamics, Azure Monitor, Azure App Insights, Grafana, ELK stack, or similar.
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS) and experience with network monitoring tools.
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation of monitoring tasks.
• Experience with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP) and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during critical incidents.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across different teams.
• Certifications in network management or cloud services.
• Experience with incident management platforms (PagerDuty, OpsGenie).
• Familiarity with ITIL or similar frameworks for IT service management.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in observability, monitoring, and incident response to continuously improve our capabilities.
