Ascendion is hiring for the role of NodeJS Engineer!
Requirements:
- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services
- Practical experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Node.js development, including building and maintaining RESTful APIs or backend services
- Familiarity with Apache Kafka for producing and consuming messages
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases (writing queries, basic schema design)
- Proficient with Git and GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)
- Comfortable using Visual Studio Code (VSCode) or similar IDEs
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal)
- Experience working in distributed or remote teams
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug issues independently
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
