NOC Support Engineer Job in Gurgaon at GlobalLogic

GlobalLogic is hiring for the role of NOC Support Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Monitor system health, events, and manage alerts using tools like Jira, Splunk, Splunk On-Call, Zabbix, and Splunk Observability
• Take ownership of complex issues/alerts and provide advanced troubleshooting.
• Investigate root causes and implement permanent solutions to recurring issues.
• Participate in war room sessions during major incidents to drive collaborative resolution.
• Coordinate with engineering teams, SREs, and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive incident reports, including root cause analysis and recommended actions.
• Networking:Diagnose and resolve complex network-related issues (e.g., advanced TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP configurations).
• Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers and storage.
• Automation: Handle low-level automation tasks such as automating ping and connectivity tests, disk space

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of production monitoring tools such as Jira, Splunk, Splunk On-Call, Zabbix, and Splunk Observability.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to manage production notifications and executive communications effectively.
• Advanced knowledge of Incident triaging, root cause analysis, and resolution techniques.
• Expertise in networking concepts, including advanced troubleshooting of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Solid experience working with cloud-enabled services and applications, including cloud-based printing.
• Automation experience with tools like Ansible, Terraform, or scripting (Python, Shell)
• Familiarity with tools for issue tracking and reporting, such as JIRA.
• Experience in compliance tracking, SLA adherence, and escalation protocols.
