NMP P&S Application Engineer Internship in Chennai at Ford Motor Pvt Ltd

Ford is hiring for the role of NMP P&S Application Engineer! 

Responsibilities of the Candidate: 

• Design, develop, and maintain user-friendly applications/dashboards and software solutions.
• Collaborate with NMP Launch teams and Cross-Functional teams to gather user needs.
• Write efficient, reusable, scalable codes in various programming languages.
• Create intuitive user interfaces and implement responsive design principles.
• Debug, test, and troubleshoot applications to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
• Stay updated on Industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance software development practices.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end users when necessary.
• Document Code, Processes, and Procedures for future reference and knowledge transfer.
• Develop Launch Timing based on GPDS Standard Timing and meet Cycle Plan guidelines
• Identify and resolve all Launch Timing issues with appropriate cross-functional team(s) (PD, Mfg, Plant, etc).
• Provide regional inputs into the Global BPR Process.
• Drive continuous improvement of process & efficiency ideas within IMG teams.
• Liaise with Global NMP teams to discuss & implement Improvement ideas from IMG region.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field
• 2 to 5 Years of experience in related field.
• Proven experience in software development with a focus on applications and dashboards. Certificates of training and Proof of execution of projects in previous organization required.
• Proficiency in above mentioned software and programming languages.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skill.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• A good understanding of security best practices in software development.
• Ability to be detail oriented and highly organized.
• Project Management experience is highly preferred.
