Networking Systems Engineer Job in Delhi at ESSI Integrated Technologies

JOB DESCRIPTION 

As a cross-functional member of our Systems Engineering and Business Development Teams, the Networking Systems Engineer (NSE) develops and manages requirements for IT Networking Systems. This involves developing operational concepts such as Bandwidth Calculations and Designing Topology, originating design concepts by identifying Make/Model and Technical Specifications or performing systems level integration, automation, and validation for simple deployments. You will interact with core technology vendors, clients, and systems users to translate their requirements into specification, design, systems, hardware, and tools. 

Responsibilities:

● Handling a high volume of inquiries while providing a high quality of documentation and research support for identifying Make/Model as per given Technical Specifications. 

● Writing up accurate and grammatically correct sales correspondence with Vendors (CISCO, Allied Telesis, Juniper, Tejas etc.) 

● Designing Networked Systems. 

● Effectively communicating with team members in a professional and friendly manner through calls, meetings, presentations. 

● Supporting the purchase and project operations teams. 

● Ensuring System uptime and managing Warranty Replacement/ RMA for Active and Passive IT Equipment.

● Learn to coordinate the activities of engineers assigned to specific engineering projects. 

● In coordination with Security and Information assurance procedures, implement safeguard measures to prevent damage and unauthorized modification and disclosure. 

Requirements:

● Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, IT, Computer Science or similar relevant Education/ Professional Qualification. 

● Network Industry Certification preferred. 

● Minimum 1+ years of experience of L2/L3 networking design and implementation experience (including routing and switching L2/L3 protocols). 

● Knowledge in following areas: Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, eBGP, VxLAN, EVPN, Multicast, Spanning Tree, QoS. 

● Knowledge of industry-standard CLI 

● Grasp of written English documentation standards. 

● Must be able to Track, analyze, and communicate Technical Information relating to domain of Networking Systems (Network Architecture with Overlays, Perform hands-on tests to validate proof-of-concept setups) 

● Ability to travel as required.
