Securview is hiring for the role of Network Security Engineer!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Configure and manage Palo Alto IPS to protect against network-based threats, ensuring optimal system performance and security.
• Develop, implement, and maintain IPS policies to detect and mitigate threats, intrusions, and attacks.
• Continuously monitor network traffic and security alerts, analyze potential threats, and provide timely incident response.
• Utilize threat intelligence sources to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities, updating IPS configurations accordingly.
• Lead or support security incident investigations, providing detailed analysis and implementing corrective measures.
• Generate reports on IPS activity, incidents, and trends. Maintain comprehensive documentation of IPS configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Work with other cybersecurity and IT teams to integrate IPS capabilities into broader security strategies and initiatives.
• Ensure IPS operations comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, specifically with Palo Alto Networks IPS.
• Relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
