Network Modeler - UDM Job in Pune at Stantec

Stantec is hiring for the role of Network Modeler-UDM!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Perform wastewater and stormwater hydraulic modeling, including model building and verification.
• Conduct optioneering and outline design of hydraulic solutions.
• Assess development impacts on wastewater and stormwater systems.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering drawings.
• Work with GIS databases to support modeling and analysis.
• Handle and analyze large datasets efficiently.
• Coordinate with clients outside regular hours when needed.
• Occasionally travel offshore for training or on-site work.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Expertise in hydraulic modeling, run-off models, and hydraulics for gravity and pressure networks.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as InfoWorks CS, InfoWorks ICM. Experience with Mike Urban, TUFLOW, HECRAS 2D, and SWMM is preferred.
• Strong data manipulation skills using tools like FME, Power BI, MS Excel, and MS Access.
• Familiarity with GIS tools such as MapInfo and ArcGIS is desirable.
• Advanced technical report writing skills.
• Strong client service management skills to build and maintain positive client relationships.
• Ability to analyze project complexities and support the team lead in mitigating risks.
• Attention to detail, adherence to workflows, and a commitment to personal professional development.
• Competence in baseline business and communication skills required for career growth.
• Flexible and proactive approach toward assignments and task execution.
