Google Inc. is hiring for the role of Network Engineer - Google Enterprise Networking (GEN)!

Responsibilities of the Candidates:

  • Manage monitoring systems for GEN (Google Enterprise Network).
  • Manage various GEN Operations dashboards.
  • Develop new features for some existing automation systems.
  • Participate in GEN Global Operations rotating on-call including weekends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Network Operations, Network Troubleshooting, Python, Go, TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, Coding, Alert Manager, Dashboards, Event Management, and Alerting.
  • 4 years of experience in fundamental networking technologies and protocols (e.g., BGP, DHCP, IPSec, Wi-Fi standards, DNS, Radius).
  • Experience in network monitoring tools (e.g., SNMP, Stream Telemetry, OpenConfig).
  • Experience coding in Python or Go.
